…or why in the world would you want to live “out here” anyway?
Ranch life is what you make it. Yes it’s hard…slogging through muddy horse corrals in the winter, doing chores in 106 degree heat in the summer. But with patience and planning these obstacles can be overcome. Attitude is everything. When you live in a rural area you have space. No close neighbors, no traffic lights, no sirens. You can build that shed for your tools, have a family gathering without complaining neighbors, shoot your guns, ride your dirt bikes. But remember, so can your fellow ranchers. So don’t be surprised if a loud motorcycle goes tearing down a dirt road, or a neighbors tractor starts up early too work his land. Be respectful.
